"I highly recommend K9 Potentials to any dog owner!
Carol's method of positive re enforcement makes training effective
and fun for both dog and handler. Carol's small class sizes
are great because each dog/handler team gets plenty of individual
attention. The skills my dogs and I learned at K9 Potentials
are a must for a well mannered, polite dog that can handle
itself in any given situation. Classes and the practice that
comes with learning new skills develop a strong bond between
dog and handler. Carol is patient, perceptive, encouraging,
and is always up to date on current developments in dog training.
I have taken both my Aussies as puppies to Carol's beginner
and advanced level classes and using her methods I have two
pets that I am proud to take anywhere. Bingo has gone on to
be essential on the farm with herding sheep and ducks. Sonnet
has just earned her fouth agility title in AKC agility. Succeeding
in high level dog performance events would have never been
possible without the foundation laid from Carol's classes.
I recently had temporary custody of my sister's two dogs
while she was deployed in the army in Afghanistan. The two
dogs came to me with no training and lacked confidence and
trust in people. After taking them to K9 Potentials, both
dogs made huge strides and are now much happier and easier
to live with. My sister just returned from Afghanistan and
she did not recognize her dogs! She said the difference was
between night and day! A trained dog is a happy dog and I
thank Carol from the bottom of my heart for teaching me how
to teach my dogs!"
